Hi everyone!

Welcome to EFC East Valley's HS blog. We are glad that you have found our site. We will try to update this as much as possible to update you on the happenings of our HS fellowship. Anyway, here is our mission statement for our group:

EV High School Fellowship exists to build a strong community of believers who are growing in their faith through the teaching of Scripture to equip and train them to reach out to their friends and community around them who do not yet have a relationship with Jesus and glorify God in all that they are.

Our key verse comes from Matthew 22:36-40: "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? "Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hand on these two commandments."

nomnoms

hellos, everybodyy :D thanks for coming to help out yesterday at hallelujah night, it was a SUCCESSSS and we couldn't have done it without you. and everyone that couldn't make it, we missed you!!! i hope your homework is nicer today. actually, i hope you don't read this email until tomorrow cause then you'd be sleeping right now and that'd be awesome. :D here's what's goin onn

1. FNF
tomorrow (omg tomorrow's Friday YESS,) we will have an activity led by Tif and Wynnford.  we may or may not be outside (questionable), so make sure to bring a jacket/warm clothes!

2. CE
on Sunday, there will be a lesson taught by Alli. SAY WHAAT. 

3. daylight saving
Sunday is also Daylight Savings, so be sure to FALL BACK 1 hr!  (extra sleep, yay!)

4. winter retreat
it is still not too late to register for winter retreat 2012!  for those of you haven't been checking, east valley is currently standing at 4th place, boasting an amazing 21 people!  go go go go go beat OC http://efcchurches.org/wr/2012/

5. bible study
i hope the words "bible study" doesn't automatically turn you away.. but i promise that this will be a lot of fun!  join us for some midweek bible fellowship via webcam!  never hurts to have a little bit of church in the middle of the week :)  contact justin or derek [respond to this email] if you are interested in joining!
