i dont know if anyone's actually going to read this email because y'all are probably all studying for them finals so ADD OIL!! WE'RE ALMOST THEREEEE :D  it'll all be over soon, i pinky promise.

anywho, here's a heads-up of what's going down in the upcoming weeks..

1. christmas potluck + program

hooray to the first christmas party of the year!  this friday, our annual christmas celebration is taking place, starting with a potluck at 6:15pm and the actual program at 7:30pm.  we will also be having a practice at 4:30pm!!  there are many other groups performing so we are on a very tight schedule..  sorry for the super early and perhaps inconvenient time!  if you can go that early, i'll give you an early christmas present :)    maybe.    PRACTICE SINGING LOUD!  btw the shower is an ideal location with excellent acoustics, if you do not already sing in there.  it's like a private singing chamber with natural reverb and running hot water.  and bubbles.  how awesome is that

2. christmas party

hooray to the second christmas party of the year!  this sunday, high school ce will consist of a GIFT EXCHANGE so bring a cool gift if you would like to participate.  please try to be creative, so preferably not something like a gift card, red envelope, check, cash, etc..  spice it up a little!  gifts should be about 5bucks-ish.  yay cheap stuff!  

the rest of the time will be spent playing games, fellowshippin', and maybe caroling to the other fellowship groups! [if you guys are down].  there'll probably be food.  so come.  let us. adore. him.

3. next friday+sunday

hooray to the third and fourth christmas party of the year!  haha jk, christmas already passed by then!  silly geese.  but to those of you who have signed up for winter retreat, we gonna be partying it up at pine summit :D  to those who have not, there will be regular fnf and ce!  

4. the end

it's 12.21.12 in two days and apparently it's the end of the mayan calender or something.  stay in school, kids.

oh my bananas, it's almost the end of 1st semester!  we wish the best of luck to everyone who still has finals this week :)  take heart, my friends, for the storm is almost over!  we can do this!  dont give up!  BE A MANN!  you must be swift as a coursing river..

1. christmas program rehearsal

this friday, december 14th, will be our first and only practice for our christmas flash mob medley.  m.joe has inforrmed me that other groups will also be using the chapel that night so realistically, we only have about 25 minutes in there.  that means everyone will have to be on their a-game and NOT fooling around!  we need to be as time efficient as possible or else we will just end up embarrassing ourselves on stage next friday.  and we wouldn't want that to happen now, would we.

2. sunday school

this sunday, ce will be taught by our very own youth minister, joe lin!  this is a chance for us to get to know him better so there will be a time where we will be able to ask him questions!  make sure everyone shows up and asks him difficult personal questions :)

3. apocalypse now

friday, december 21st, 2012 is the end of the world!!  time to get crackin' on that bucket list, eh?

haha anyways, our christmas program is going to be on this day!  potluck is at 6:30pm and program starts at 7:30

4. christmas party

in two sundays, we will have a high school christmas party :D  expect fun fellowship, games, and food!

5. winter retreat

is in TWO WEEKS!  who's pumped up?!   scholarships are still available for those who need it

DECEMBER HAS ARRIVED!!

(sorry if some of you guys get this email twice.. my mistake the first time!)
GOOD EVENING FELLOW HIGH SCHOOLERS <3

 If you guys came on Sunday for Alli's awesome lesson, how is it going for those of you that chose something to give up this week? (ie facebook, secular music, phones, chatting, etc) We'd love to hear about it!
Good luck to everyone who is starting to study (or should start studying..) for their finals that are coming up soon! Hope you guys get enough sleep, stay productive, and stay strong! And look at the bright side, after finals is.. WINTER BREAK! WOOT!  Its FINALLY December, and I'm loving all this Christmas spirit already!! 

Even though you guys are all busy with school, hope you guys can take a moment to look at this week's announcements!

1. Friday Night Fellowship

    This Friday, we will be continuing our mini series on Dealing with Stress, led by Wynnford! I know ya'll are probably dealing with stress with all the finals talk so come and learn more on how to deal with this chaos!

2. Saturday

   This Saturday, a few of us are going to the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center! Please pray for productive team work, and also that we may get to know other people that are serving there!

3. Sunday CE

  We will be having a CORE led prayer and fellowship time during CE this Sunday! We will behaving prayer time! and playing games led by RENEE KAU AND ANDREW CHANG! BE EXCITED or scared. im not quite sure myself.

4 Christmas Program Prep

   On Friday Dec 14, we will be preparing for our exciting christmas performance with the Collegians! MAKE SURE YOU COME THAT DAYY! It is our only practice day, so hopefully, you guys can all make it so you know what to do when the actual program takes place the following Friday on December 21st! We are preparing to do a FLASH MOB. thats right. you heard that correctly. flash mob with a MEDLEY! it'll be a fun and new experience, and we would LOVE for you to be a part of it!
 The actual program starts at 7:30pm on DECEMBER 21, but there will be a potluck dinner at 6:30pm! COME FOR GREAT FOOD AND A GREAT CHRISTMAS PROGRAM! :D

5. Winter Retreat

  Just a reminder that scholarships are still available! Last day to register is Dec 9! Only a few days left to register! SO DO IT NOW!! 6. Arizona Mission
