Welcome!!!

Hi everyone!

Welcome to EFC East Valley's HS blog. We are glad that you have found our site. We will try to update this as much as possible to update you on the happenings of our HS fellowship. Anyway, here is our mission statement for our group:

EV High School Fellowship exists to build a strong community of believers who are growing in their faith through the teaching of Scripture to equip and train them to reach out to their friends and community around them who do not yet have a relationship with Jesus and glorify God in all that they are.

Our key verse comes from Matthew 22:36-40: "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? "Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hand on these two commandments."

We hope that you will continue to drop by our blog and come join us on Fridays and Sundays!

bonjour!
sorry for going mia for the past couple weeks but we're back!  how have your first weeks of school been?  if you feel like this week has been terribly long, you are not alone.  trust me.  but fret not, there are only two days left until the weekend :)  we want to congratulate all of you who have gotten through the c90x program successfully!  we hope that it has been spiritually rewarding; please continue to find ways to meditate on the word and quench your spiritual thirst each and every day.

without further ado, here are our weekly announcements!

3. territorial conquest
we have successfully taken over the college room and we will be using it for our activities until someone randomly decides to room swap again.  but that's probably not gonna happen for a while.  so please remember to steal all of our pillows and food back and report to room 24.

4. memorial day retreat
registration is still open but prices have been raised!  please sign up quickly so you can arrange rooming and other ma-fan things.

5. mid-week bible study

we wish you all the best of luck for this remaining half of the year!

with love,
