don't go trick-or-treating, kids.  halloween is the pedophile's favorite day to prey on children like yourselves.  whatchu gonna do when they come for you?!  where you gonna run?!    CHURCH, THAT'S WHERE!!  come to ev this halloween [next wednesday] and there you will find a safe haven for all you vulnerable adolescents who wish to seek refuge from evil people.  i believe it starts at 7pm but please try to come earlier to help set up!  m.joe says we're expecting a lot of kids this year.

2. high school lunch date

you have been cordially invited to participate in an ev high school afternoon tea this upcoming sunday and we have the privilege of enjoying an exquisite cuisine of exotic dishes from the tropics of hawaii.  yup, we'll be eating at L&L's.  please rsvp to this event by bringing a signed permission slip and try to bring some money!

3. winter retreat

it is still not too late to register for winter retreat 2012!  this sunday is the last day before the prices go up.  for those of you haven't been checking, east valley is currently standing at 2nd place, boasting an amazing 6 people!  just four more and we'll beat orange county :D

4. bible study
