Hi everyone!

Welcome to EFC East Valley's HS blog. We are glad that you have found our site. We will try to update this as much as possible to update you on the happenings of our HS fellowship. Anyway, here is our mission statement for our group:

EV High School Fellowship exists to build a strong community of believers who are growing in their faith through the teaching of Scripture to equip and train them to reach out to their friends and community around them who do not yet have a relationship with Jesus and glorify God in all that they are.

Our key verse comes from Matthew 22:36-40: "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? "Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hand on these two commandments."

boo!

why hello there! 
I hope this week has been treating you well! here are a few things to keep in mind as it finishes up :)
  1. ted is teaching this friday :O we talked about dating last week— what craziness will ensue this time?
  2. justin and andrew will be teaching this sunday. wait.. what!?! high schoolers are teaching!? yes. and they're gonna be absolutely amazing (no pressure, guys) so you should make a point to come out! :)
  3. if you haven't noticed already, we're meeting at the cross on Sundays for CE this month! so don't be confused when you find Taiwanese amas and akongs in our usual room.
  4. if you choose to be on leadership, you must attend a meeting this sunday afternoon and turn in a leadership application by this friday!
  5. lastly, remember to keep your partner from sunday accountable! :)
may the rest of your week be full of happiness and cool things and may no terrible homework or projects come your way.
