Hi everyone!

Welcome to EFC East Valley's HS blog. We are glad that you have found our site. We will try to update this as much as possible to update you on the happenings of our HS fellowship. Anyway, here is our mission statement for our group:

EV High School Fellowship exists to build a strong community of believers who are growing in their faith through the teaching of Scripture to equip and train them to reach out to their friends and community around them who do not yet have a relationship with Jesus and glorify God in all that they are.

Our key verse comes from Matthew 22:36-40: "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? "Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hand on these two commandments."

greetings from starcommand! 
this is your captain speaking.  please take note of the following updates and upcoming events as they creep closer and closer to us on the calender.

1. sunday schedule change
on 10/17 [this sunday], worship service will commence at 10AM at the Cross to compensate for the congregational meeting in the Chapel. 
**there will still be CE at 11:30!!
2. prayer meeting
there will be a prayer meeting this sunday at 9AM at the Cross so please come and drop by and dedicate a little extra time to talk to God before we kick off our day of worship!  there will be donuts. 
3. core meeting
CORE TEAM MEMBERS UNITE!!  core people, i summon thee to congregate for our monthly group therapy session to discuss cool stuff.  rendezvous point at starcommand headquarters [hs room].
4. winter retreat 2012
it is official!  yes, im seriously!  there will be a winter retreat this year!  praiiseeee the loorrddd!  register early to get a discounted price!!  whoawhoawhoa did he just say discount?!   why yes, i did!  dingdingdingdingdingdingding!!!

5. prayer request
please take some time today to pray for dabbie, as she has just went through surgery for her knee.  please pray for a quick recovery!!

6. bible study
as usual, we will have our weekly bible studies (most likely) in the middle of the week so if you would like to join, contact justin or derek!
