Hi everyone!

Welcome to EFC East Valley's HS blog. We are glad that you have found our site. We will try to update this as much as possible to update you on the happenings of our HS fellowship. Anyway, here is our mission statement for our group:

EV High School Fellowship exists to build a strong community of believers who are growing in their faith through the teaching of Scripture to equip and train them to reach out to their friends and community around them who do not yet have a relationship with Jesus and glorify God in all that they are.

Our key verse comes from Matthew 22:36-40: "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? "Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hand on these two commandments."

announcements!

HELLO HIGH SCHOOLERS!
APRIL 27TH (this friday in two days) we're going ice skating! 
meet at church @ 6pm to carpool, please & thank you! 
the actual event is from 7pm - 9pm! 
please bring your signed permission slip! 
FREE for newcomers [ so invite your friends!:) ] 
$10 for everyone else! 
unless you're under 15 (freshmen) .. you only pay $8 :) 
IF YOU GUYS CAN'T AFFORD THIS, PLEASE LET US KNOW! WE'LL TRY TO FIGURE SOMETHING OUT FOR YOU :)

  • we encourage you to attend prayer meetings @ 9:15am EVERY SUNDAY!
  • stephanie wang will be continuing our INDUCTIVE BIBLE STUDY! don't miss out on the GOOD STUFF :) 
upcoming events -
  • ARIZONA MISSION APPLICATIONS ARE DUE THIS SUNDAY APRIL 29TH - make sure you have your 2 letters of rec!
  • DO YOU GO TO WALNUT HIGH SCHOOL? The Lot has arrived! (efcev parking lot) MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY 1:30 - 3:30 !!
  • PLEASE TURN IN YOUR 30 HOUR FAMINE PACKETS! - if you guys didn't get a fundraising packet, they're in the HS room! :) any amount of $$ helps.
